Summary

Interns will be assigned a mentor in the department in which they will be working. The intern will work closely with their mentor throughout the duration of the internship. The interns will learn about the operations of a Credit Union. They will perform the daily duties of their respective departments, attend various meetings, and assist on departmental projects as assigned.

In this job, you will

- Candidate will be working with a team to disposition applications for either a cloud offering (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) or migration to a COLO.
- Candidate will respond to Service Now tickets to resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues, service requests, and assist in system changes. Once candidate has exhausted all troubleshooting options without resolving the issue, escalation to Tier 3 will be needed. 
- Candidate will use Automic for batch processing of scheduled tasks.
- Candidate will use Axway Secure Transport for securely transmitting and receiving files from outside vendors.
- Candidate will work in the data center for server installation, retire, and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Computer Science, Information Technology degrees preferred, other related degrees/fields considered
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0+ required
- Proven leadership skills either on or off campus preferred
- Community involvement/volunteerism preferred
- Participation in extracurricular activities preferred
- Able to commit to a 12-week program throughout summer
- strong understanding of Windows servers and basic knowledge of Cloud computing
- Previous work with virtual platforms (VMWare) preferred
